Sheet Extrusion Technology for EVA, POE & EPE Solar Cell .

LAMINA e is Rajoo’s dedicated sheet extrusion technology to produce EVA, POE and EPE solar encapsulant films for photovoltaic module applications.

Engineered as a complete extrusion system, LAMINA è integrates dosing, high-performance extrusion, controlled cooling, and winding for stable production of low-shrinkage solar encapsulant films.

The specially engineered screw geometry enables high output at low melt temperatures and allows processing of resins with varying VA content and Melt Flow Index (MFI). Edge-trim regrind can also be processed, improving material utilisation and process efficiency.

The line operates at high output with low winder tension, while maintaining shrinkage within controlled limits. Film tension is minimised from the start of the process, thereby eliminating the need for a separate post-annealing system.

Developed as an indigenous solar encapsulant extrusion technology in India, LAMINA è supports the Make in India initiative and India’s renewable energy goals by enabling domestic manufacturing of critical equipment for the solar PV value chain. As an import-substitution technology, it contributes to strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem, advancing localisation across the value chain and reducing dependence on imported extrusion technology for EVA / POE / EPE solar encapsulant film production.
